Software for games, for learning, and the tools that build both.

Little Software LLC is a software company registered in Florida. We build game technology and interactive learning software — our own products and engineering for clients — with artificial intelligence applied on both sides of the work: in how we build, and in what we ship.

AI-native, end to end

What we do

Four practices, one discipline

Games, learning software and developer tools are the same engineering problem seen from three sides: real-time, interactive, and unforgiving about how it feels to use. We work across the whole stack that surrounds them.

01

Game development

Original games built for the web and delivered wherever they need to run — browser, desktop and mobile — from concept and prototype through to a maintained production release.

02

Learning & edtech

Software that teaches: didactic design, generated visual and interactive material, exercises and feedback loops, and the tools teachers need to assign and follow real work.

03

Engines & developer tools

2D engines, visual editors, plugin architectures, code generation and asset pipelines. The software developers use every day, designed to be extended rather than replaced.

04

Platforms & backends

Publishing platforms, content management, identity, persistence and APIs — the services that turn a game or a tool into a product that can be operated at scale.

Applied AI

AI on both sides of the work

Artificial intelligence is not a feature we added late. It is how our products are built, and it is part of what they do once they are running. Both directions are in production today.

In what we ship

AI inside the product

We design software that gives models real work to do — authoring, tutoring, generating playable and didactic content — with the structure and guardrails that make the result usable rather than a demo.

  • MCP servers and OpenAPI catalogs that let an assistant operate a product
  • Structured tool design so a model can create, run and publish real artifacts
  • AI tutors and adaptive practice with pedagogical intent behind them
  • Generation of visual and interactive learning material
  • Multi-provider integration across Claude, Gemini and OpenAI-compatible models
In how we build

AI inside the practice

We work spec-driven and use coding agents throughout the development cycle. That gives a small company the delivery pace of a much larger one, without giving up the part that matters: a senior engineer answering for what ships.

  • Features decomposed into specifications agents can execute
  • Generated implementations reviewed, refined and owned by a human
  • Architecture, release quality and support kept as engineering decisions
  • Documentation maintained as a first-class part of the codebase
  • Tooling built in house when the available tools are not good enough

Our work

Our own products

Our revenue comes from professional software engineering and consulting services for business clients. The products below are our own in-house work — where the engineering we bring to those clients is developed and proven. Minimo Games and Mister F are where the AI work is most visible; Phaser Editor is where the tooling practice was formed. All of it is designed, engineered and maintained hands on.

Matandile Games

Game studio

Our in-house studio and publishing label, where we develop original web games as internal projects — play and learning as the same activity — built to run across desktop and mobile browsers.

Minimo Games

Engine, platform & agent API

A browser 2D game engine paired with a publishing platform, exposed to AI assistants through MCP and an OpenAPI catalog. A model can author a game, run it, iterate on it and publish it — the platform, not the prompt, is what keeps the result real.

Mister F

Learning platform

Our in-house platform for English practice with an AI tutor. Not a game, but the same discipline: didactics, interaction design, and content generated to be practised rather than read. In open pilot, with a full release and operations pipeline behind it.

Phaser Editor 2D

Game development IDE

The commercial IDE for HTML5 game development that our founder created, sold and supported as an independent product for eight years, and has continued to lead since it became part of Phaser Studio. It is where our approach to editors, plugin systems and code generation comes from.

How we work

Senior engineering, without the overhead

Ownership end to end

Architecture, implementation, releases, documentation and support. We take responsibility for a product as a whole, not for a ticket queue.

Small by design

You talk to the engineer building your software. Decisions are made in hours, context is never lost in translation, and the work stays close to the problem.

Built to last

Software maintained across years and release generations, with the documentation, versioning and support that make a product outlive the sprint that created it.

The company

Built by people who ship

Little Software LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida and based in Naples. We develop and operate our own software products, and we take on engineering work for studios, publishers and companies building games, learning software and the tools around them.

The company has several sides — game development, learning technology, developer tooling — held together by one idea: interactive software is worth building properly, and worth maintaining once it is built.

Arian Fornaris, founder of Little Software LLC

Arian Fornaris

Founder & Principal Engineer

A senior software engineer with around twenty years of experience in developer tools and HTML5 game technology. He built, sold and supported Phaser Editor 2D, a commercial IDE used by studios worldwide, for eight years, and has continued leading that product since it was acquired. He founded Little Software to build interactive and learning software the same way: designed, engineered and maintained end to end, with AI as part of both the practice and the product.
